What You'll Need to Get Started

Our budgeting platform works on most devices you already own. We built it to be accessible because financial planning shouldn't require expensive equipment.

Here's what we recommend for the smoothest experience with fylaroravia.

Desktop Requirements

Operating System

Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.14 or later, or any recent Linux distribution with a graphical interface

Processor

Any dual-core processor from the last decade works. We tested on machines from 2015 without issues.

Memory

4GB RAM minimum — though 8GB gives you breathing room if you keep multiple tabs open

Display

1280x720 resolution or higher. The interface adapts to your screen size automatically.

Browser

Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, Edge 90+ (basically anything from 2023 onwards)

Mobile Specifications

iOS Devices

iPhone 7 or newer running iOS 14 or later. iPad models from 2017 onwards work perfectly.

Android Devices

Android 8.0 or newer with at least 3GB RAM. Most phones from 2019 onwards meet this easily.

Screen Size

Works on screens from 4.7 inches up. Larger screens show more data at once, but everything's accessible on smaller displays too.

Data Usage

Roughly 2-5MB per session. We compress data heavily so it won't eat your mobile plan.

Network and Security

Connection Speed

5 Mbps download works well. Even slower connections handle basic operations, though reports might take a moment to load.

Must be enabled. We use them to keep you logged in and remember your preferences — nothing intrusive.

JavaScript

Required for the interactive dashboard. The platform relies on it for calculations and real-time updates.

Firewall Access

Allow connections to fylaroravia.com on standard HTTPS port 443. Most networks permit this by default.

Built for Real Australians Using Real Devices

We didn't design fylaroravia for tech enthusiasts with the latest gear. Frankly, that would've been easier.

Instead, we tested it on ageing laptops, budget Android phones, and tablets with cracked screens. Because that's what people actually use when they're checking their budget at the kitchen table or on the train home from work.

Our Sydney-based development team spent months stripping out anything that would slow things down or require fancy hardware. The result is something that loads fast and runs smoothly whether you're on a brand-new MacBook or a five-year-old Windows machine.
